The authors who publish in this magazine accept the following conditions:

art.1 . The Author retains the rights to his work, where the term "work" includes all digital objects that may result from electronic publication or distribution.

art.2 . From the moment the work is accepted by Jacquard of living (for brevity in the text referred to as J ), the Author grants the Magazine the right of first publication of the work.

art.3 . The Author concedes to J and to all its agents, if any, the non-exclusive and perpetual right and license to publish and store the work, in part or in whole, under a Creative Commons Attribution - Non-commercial - Non derivative works 4.0 International or its equivalent, which, for the avoidance of doubt, allows others to copy, distribute and transmit the work under the following conditions:

Attribution: other users must attribute the work specifically to its author, as indicated on the Magazine's website;

Non-commercial: other users (including the Magazine Publisher) may not use this work for commercial purposes;

Non-derivative works: other users (including the Magazine Publisher) may not alter, transform, or otherwise process this work, with the understanding that this status may be exceeded with the Author's permission and that, where the work or one of its elements is in the public domain under applicable law, this status is not altered in any way by the license.

art.4 . The Author may adhere to other non-exclusive license agreements for the distribution of the published version of the work (e.g. deposit it in an institutional archive or publish it in a monograph), provided that he indicates that the first publication took place in this Magazine.

art.5 . Always indicating that the first publication took place in this Magazine, the Author is encouraged to disseminate and publish the manuscript of his work online (but not the final version in PDF format, published by J ) in institutional repositories or on his own website, as this may lead to productive exchanges and increase quotations of the published work (See The Effect of Open Access).
This type of publication, if done before the acceptance and publication of the work, must be updated by the Author in order to make explicit reference, when the work is published, to the online work of the final publication published by J .

art.6 . Upon J's Publisher's request, the Author agrees to promptly provide the Publisher, at its own expense, with written evidence of permissions, licenses and concessions to use for all third parts' material included in the work, except for what the Publisher will consider covered by the principles of Fair Use. The Author is aware and warrants that:

. the published work is an original work of the Author (or a translation, edited by the Author, of an original work of others not subject to copyright or licensed by the rightful owner); the Author has not transferred, and will not transfer, the exclusive rights of the work to a third parts;

. the work is not under review or consideration by another Publisher; the work has never been published before (if the work is an extension of a previous publication, this must be clearly stated on the first page of it);

. the work does not contain any misrepresentation or violate works or properties of other authors or third parts;

. the work does not contain any defamation, invasion of privacy or other illegal material.

The Author agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Publisher harmless from the violation by the Author of any rights referred to in art. 6 above, as well as from any claim or procedure relating to the use and publication by the Publisher of the contents of the work, including the contents of third parts.
