How many different eyes can you look at an image with? How many different interpretations can there be? The reflection on the concept of gender and how it is plural and linked to personal perception remains open.
J. and @stortho.collettivo question the influence of gender definitions, searching for hidden meanings in the famous painting on canvas "Suprematist Composition", by Kazimir Malevich (1916). Divided into 9 pieces, each post is untied from the initial identity of the work, to be observed and reinterpreted.
J. and StorthØ leave themselves free to interpret the image, borrowing it in a decontextualized way and naked by prejudices. The result is an intricate complex of subjective visions.
In this way we want to show the uniqueness of the different points of view and emphasize that in the variety and multitude of images produced lies the freedom of expression of each of us, free from any prejudice. This metaphor is the result of our personal reflection on the theme of "gender equality", with the aim of giving light to the infinite perceptions of gender identity.
On October 2020 the project was selected for the ARTKEYS PRIZE 2020 (Illustration section, finalist).
